Yangmei Tauhua Coal-to-Chemical ZLD

 

To address more pressing water reuse regulations in central China, Oasys Water and Beijing Woteer teamed up to develop a complete and integrated solution to treat a difficult wastewater stream generated by the Taiyuan Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. coal-to-chemical complex. Innovations in the process design include membrane based pretreatment, utilizing tubular MF for softening and silica reduction, and the Oasys Membrane Brine Concentrator (MBCTM), which uses forward osmosis (FO), to perform the brine concentration step prior to salt crystallization. The complete system provides greater than 99.5% recovery of product water at 1,180 m3/day and total dissolved solids levels below 100 mg/L.
